About the LeaguesX editorial desk
01Editorial method

How a captain pick makes it onto LeaguesX.

A captain pick is not a tip. It is a four-factor read: venue record, recent form arrow, role fit and confirmed XI when available. Each pick carries a one-line rationale and a source stamp with the date of the last editorial check.

02Correction register

When we are wrong, the desk publishes the correction in line.

The corrections register is appended to the relevant chapter rather than buried. If a player role tag is wrong, the tag is updated and a one-line correction note is added below the body text. The desk reads every correction tip within 48 hours.

03Writing language and disclosure

Plain language, attributed sources, no payment to publish a pick.

The desk does not accept payment to feature a player, team or contest. Where a chapter quotes a tournament publication or an official score feed, the source is named in line. Where a chapter leans on a fan verdict or a public leaderboard, that is named too.
